Year after year our matric class delivers outstanding results that reflect the collaborative effort of learners, teachers, and parents. Academic Achievers: Educational Tour to the USA
1 October 2026
Khensani Tshabalala is going on an educational adventure! This Academic Achiever is heading to the USA East Coast, where she will explore Boston, New York, and Washington, visit leading universities including MIT, Harvard, Yale, Princeton, and Columbia, and experience new places, cultures, and learning opportunities along the way.
District Olympiad: Social Sciences

Congratulations to Katlego Mlangeni, who was named winner at district level of the Social Sciences Olympiad! This outstanding achievement reflects hard work, dedication, and the quality of teaching learners receive at Hoërskool John Vorster.
The whole John Vorster community is incredibly proud of Katlego and wishes her the best of luck in the next rounds of the competition.

We strive annually for a pass rate of 98% or higher in the National Senior Certificate examination.
