Mr Jaap de Beer Appointed as Acting Principal

Hoërskool John Vorster is proud to announce that Mr Jaap de Beer, former deputy principal, is officially appointed as acting principal today, following Mr Jan Nienaber's retirement on 31 July 2026.
Mr de Beer brings years of experience and dedication to Hoërskool John Vorster to this role. He will lead the school while the governing body undertakes the appointment process for a new permanent principal.
The entire John Vorster community wishes Mr de Beer every success in this important role.

Today, after years of dedicated service, Mr Jan Nienaber retires as principal of Hoërskool John Vorster. Under his leadership, the school has grown in academic excellence, sporting achievement, and a strong sense of community.
The entire John Vorster community — learners, parents, staff, and alumni — sincerely thank Mr Nienaber for his years of dedication, guidance, and care. We wish him everything of the best for a prosperous and well-deserved future.
Mr Jaap de Beer, former deputy principal, will act as principal in the interim while the school's governing body undertakes the appointment process for a new principal.
