Financial assistance for learners at Hoërskool John Vorster

Hoërskool John Vorster believes that financial circumstances should not be a barrier for qualifying learners to be part of our school community. Limited bursaries and financial aid are available for families who need it.

Applications are handled on a confidential basis. The availability of bursaries varies from year to year and is approved by the governing body.

Qualifying Criteria

  • Proof of financial need (household income declaration)
  • Good academic record or exceptional sporting/cultural talent
  • Positive conduct record at previous school
  • Learner must meet the admission requirements
